Easy Chinese Chicken Stir-Fry



Chinese Chicken Stir-Fry is a quick and delicious dish that can be prepared in under 30 minutes. This recipe is perfect for beginners and those looking for a healthy, flavorful meal.

Ingredients:

  • 2 boneless, skinless chicken breasts, thinly sliced
  • 1 cup broccoli florets
  • 1 red bell pepper, sliced
  • 1 carrot, julienned
  • 3 cloves garlic, minced
  • 2 tablespoons soy sauce
  • 1 tablespoon oyster sauce
  • 1 tablespoon cornstarch
  • 1/2 cup chicken broth
  • 2 tablespoons vegetable oil
  • Salt and pepper to taste
  • Cooked white rice (for serving)

Instructions:

  1. Marinate the Chicken: In a bowl, combine the chicken slices with 1 tablespoon of soy sauce and cornstarch. Mix well and set aside for 10 minutes.
  2. Prepare the Sauce: In a small bowl, mix the remaining soy sauce, oyster sauce, and chicken broth. Set aside.
  3. Cook the Chicken: Heat 1 tablespoon of vegetable oil in a large pan or wok over medium-high heat. Add the marinated chicken and stir-fry until fully cooked, about 5-7 minutes. Remove from the pan and set aside.
  4. Stir-Fry the Vegetables: In the same pan, add the remaining oil. Add the garlic and stir-fry for about 30 seconds until fragrant. Add the broccoli, bell pepper, and carrot. Stir-fry for about 5 minutes until vegetables are tender-crisp.
  5. Combine and Serve: Return the chicken to the pan, pour in the sauce, and stir well to combine. Cook for another 2-3 minutes until everything is well-coated and heated through. Season with salt and pepper to taste. Serve hot cooked white rice.
