How to make Cabbage Rice


Today I am going to make rice from cabbage this is a popular dish in south india.you can make this rice even for those who do not eat meat and fish for a special occasion.



ingredients:

  • 2 cup of cooked rice
  • 2 cup chopped cabbage
  • 3 tablespoons of oil
  • mustard seed 3/4 tbsp
  • ginger 1 tbsp
  • karapincha leaves 5-6

  • country cashew tablespoons 2
  • sprouted raw chili pods 1
  • 1/2 chopped onion
  • 1/4 grated carrot
  • teaspoons chopped fish chili 2 tbsp
  • 1/2 teaspoons of salt
  • 1/4 teaspoon of turmeric powder
  • 1/2 teaspoon of chili powder
  • 1/2 teaspoon of garam masala powder(available at the supermarket)
  • teaspoons of grated coconut 2
  • a little chopped coriander leaves


How to make


  •  First, take a pot, put it in a pan, add oil, mustard seeds, curry leaves, and mustard seeds and let it simmer until it explodes.
  •  Then add some peanuts and let it fry.
  •  When the cashews are fried, add salt and raw chilies and fry them too.
  •  Then add the carrots and fish chilies.
  •  When it cools down, add the cabbage and cook for about 3 minutes.
  •  Add a pinch of salt.
  •  Then add garam masala, chili powder, and turmeric powder to this vegetable mixture.
  •  Now reduce the heat a little and add the cooked rice to the vegetable mixture and stir.  At this time, add a little salt to taste.
  •  Once the rice is cooked, cover the pan with a lid and cook for about 3 minutes.  After 3 minutes, open the lid and see that the rice is nicely colored.
  •  Then all we have to do is add the grated coconut and some coriander leaves to the rice and mix well.
  •  that's all!  Here we are done making "Cabbage Rice"!  Then all you have to do is send the food to the table.
